Stormwater Conveyance

Getting water from point A to point B shouldn’t be the hard part. Jensen manufactures concrete pipe and box culvert at plants across the West. That means local inventory, fast delivery, and 50+ years of hydraulic engineering behind every spec. Conveyance is the backbone of every storm drain system, and it’s what Jensen was built on.

Problems Solved

Storm drain projects fail when pipe doesn’t show up on time, specs don’t match local DOT requirements, or the manufacturer can’t support your hydraulic calcs. You’ve dealt with out-of-region suppliers who don’t know your agency’s specs, don’t stock your sizes, and can’t deliver on your timeline. Jensen solves all three.

How Stormwater Conveyance Works

Conveyance systems collect stormwater runoff from surfaces and transport it to treatment devices, detention systems, or discharge points. The system typically includes catch basins and inlets at the surface, underground pipe or culvert for transport, and manholes for access and maintenance.

Jensen manufactures every component in the conveyance chain - pipe, culvert, catch basins, manholes, and junction structures. When conveyance ties into a StormVault detention system or treatment train, the whole system is engineered and built by one team.

How to Get Started

You have your workflow.

We fit into it, not the other way around.

01

Get Drawings Fast

Tell us your site constraints. We’ll turn around project-specific drawings in days, not weeks.

02

Request Sizing

Share your hydrology data and storage requirements. Our engineers will size a system and return a preliminary layout.

03

Engineering Review

We’ll review your design, confirm hydraulic calcs, verify agency compliance, and provide stamped submittals.

04

Installation Support

From delivery coordination to on-site technical support, we stay with your project through final inspection.

Complete Your System

Most projects need more than one solution. A detention system works best with pretreatment upstream, filtration downstream, and conveyance tying it all together. Add a pump station for reuse or lift applications. Jensen engineers and manufactures the entire system, so you get one partner, one set of drawings, and one team that knows how it all connects.
